« J’ai photographié ma grande sœur qui est passionnée par le Ori Tahiti et qui le pratique depuis son plus jeune âge. J’ai décidé de la photographier devant une cascade car je me suis inspirée d’une légende tahitienne. C’est l’histoire de la princesse Fauai du village de Tiarei. Elle était d’une beauté divine. Son père lui interdisait de fréquenter des garçons car elle n’avait que 17 ans. Mais un beau jour lors d’une balade dans la vallée elle rencontre un jeune homme nommé Ivi. Ils tombèrent amoureux et décidèrent de se cacher derrière la cascade afin de fuir la tyrannie du Roi. »
