From Manchester To My Island Home

Dernière mise à jour : 8 mars 2019

In this English lesson, we learnt about cities and life in the city in general. We focused on the city of Manchester, a well-known city in the North of England.

Manchester is known for its old factories dating back to the 19th century. All the slums have been renovated and sometimes they have been turned into parks where you can breathe fresh air.

Today, Manchester is such a friendly place to be. Manchester University attracts many students from all over the world. There are countless museums in the centre city such as the Manchester Art Gallery. If you go to the Curry Mile, you will find a lot of eateries.

Mancunians are the inhabitants of this city.

At the end, as a final task, we had to create a video guide about our island home to present one aspect of our city. We had to choose a place of interest, a historical event, a popular event or a monument to present in English.

So here are our videos about Papeete, Moorea, Bora Bora, Ua Pou all our islands that are so beautiful, we just want to talk about them endlessly.
