Physical bullying

Dernière mise à jour : 21 nov. 2019

This is the most visible type of bullying, since the aggressor uses his physical strength to terrify his victim. With kicks, slaps, and other types of physical aggression, the abuser tries to humiliate and subdue the person to whom the blows are directed.

It is important to mention that this type of school bullying normally occurs in the company of other people, other friends who encourage and incite to strike even more the person in front of them. Thus, the aggressor feels himself the strongest, like an all-powerful leader.

Even though the most violent attacks may not be public, there may be more "light" demonstrations of this kind. A toe-up, a shove, a kick at the table where he or she sits, the theft of his or her binder, can be signals that there may be a case of harassment at school.
