In general, an anime is an animation series which has a Japanese origin either through the animation being made by Japanese animator groups or through mangas made by Japanese mangaka (the people that draw the mangas)
The anime was firstly created at the start of the twenty century when the Japanese directors tried to create some animation following the Occidental animation way with also the first animated movie : « the white snake ».However the anime had to wait until the release of « Astro small robot » in 1963 by Ozamu Tezuka, when the anime genre had become popular.
As of today there are tons of animes . It has developed such a unique style that even other countries try to make there own as for example the manga « Radiant » created by French mangaka Tony Valente made a fantastic job, it even is extremely popular in Japan to the point that a Japanese group made an anime for it
