The Bossaball is a new sport invented in Belgium b y F i l ip Eyckmans who developed the concept in 2004.
The sport was officially launched to the world in 2004 too , and has since been introduced to various countries in Europe, Latin America and the Middle East .
It’s similar at the classic volleyball but includes elements specific of football, gymnastics, capoeira and trampoline.
The game is played on a special inflatable court which has two circular trampolines on each side . It’s a ball game between two teams of 3 to 5 players.
One of the players of the serving team throws the ball by hand or with his foot in the air and tries to
throw the ball onto the opposing court . The opposing team, if it manages to catch the ball . We may use à maximum of 8 contacts with the ball before throwing it back to the other court.
