Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is a type of bullying unfortunately not rare which takes place through the internet and social medias.



Cyberbullying is quite similar to verbal bullying except that the bully can be anonymous as it is online. It can takes many forms : sending incessant messages (chat, sms, phone…), posting humiliating photos or videos of the victim, release private (intimate) photos, spreading false rumours, and also impersonation.



This form of bullying is even more serious and grave for the victim because when informations or photos are posted online, it is really difficult to take them off ; they are conserved. The propagation is also extremely fast because almost every teenagers use social networks today, which have serious consequences as the victim is humiliated in front of everyone.
